Adventure Club arrest with 'Back To You,' from forthcoming sophomore album

With “Back To You,” Adventure Club appeal to fans of their time-honored electronic formula: supple female vocals and bass that provides a texturally gritty counterpart to an emotive melody. The second single from Adventure Club’s presently unchristened sophomore LP invites a vocal appearance from a familiar singer, Sara Diamond, whom long term listeners will recall for her contribution to “Firestorm,” from Adventure Club’s debut album, Red // Blue.

The soprano power of Diamond’s pipes characterize her encore as a welcome one. Diamond’s vocals synergistically tangle with chords, creating a speaker-filling surround sound that distinguishes the synth-heavy single. After this follow up to the sophomore project’s debut single, “Rebellious,” listeners are expectedly perched on the edges of their seats, awaiting the album’s arrival. Although an official release date has yet to be announced, Adventure Club have indicated that the LP will land in July or August.
