Armin van Buuren recruits BlasterJaxx for nostalgic bigroom anthem, 'Tarzan' – Dancing Astronaut

On paper, the prospect of seeing Armin van Buuren and BlasterJaxx‘s names in the same headline might have seemed improbable, but in reality, a meeting between the trance kingpin and the bigroom colonizers was long overdue. From Tomorrowland’s 2019 edition to ASOT950, the collaborators have routinely slipped a suspected collaboration into their respective sets, and now, almost a complete calendar cycle later, “Tarzan” has scored clearance.

As the pile of quarantine releases well suited for a live setting continues to mount, it’s apparent that Armin van Buuren and BlasterJaxx’s single would have been among the summer’s most supported electronic efforts. Reminiscent of the latter’s 2014 bigroom staple, “Rocket,” “Tarzan” is a time machine that directly transports listeners back to a different generation of dance music.
