Lil Bibby Says He'll Drop "Free Crack 3" In July, Two New Projects in 2016
Taking a brief break from the studio, Lil Bibby took time for a brief interview to discuss his recent happenings. The east side Chicago opened up on his long-awaited Free Crack 3 mixtape being the final chapter of the series, which will have production from WondaGurl, Justice League and Black Metaphor to name a few. With a tour in place set to begin this August, watch more from the interview above, where also gives an update on the collaborative project withLil Herb.
In a new interview with Hip Hops Revival, Lil Bibby revealed that he plans to drop his long-awaited trilogy finale Free Crack 3 sometime in July. He also revealed that he will drop a full-length collaborative project with Lil Herb at the top of 2016 as well as an album shortly thereafter.
Bibby said he's been in the studio for the last week and a half, often sleeping in the studio to get FC3 done, and claims the project will have a different sound compared to the first two installments. "I'm rapping over big beats, it's got a classic feel to it."
He also mentioned that he's been contacted about being on the soundtrack of Spike Lee's upcoming film "Chiraq."
