Striking with a 2017 to remember, they brought to the world some the smoothest and diverse tracks the year. “Love is Alive” set them up and drove home that they weren't messing around with this EDM thing. They followed up with taking over festival stages across the globe and their International “Last To Leave Tour”. On tour they blew up stages with a unique sound that masterfully blended with the EDM scene while remaining extremely, extremely different. As fans, we know that going to different shows many times deliver similar sound in this day and age in music. However, these dudes have maintained their vibe and continued to kill it with their individuality. With hot tracks, “Slow Down Love”, “Love is alive”, Phone Died”, “Go”, “Fire” and “Last to Leave” all dropping in 2017, the mark was set high for them to thrive even more in 2018. Louis The Child Team Up with Joey Purp For Hit Single "Shake Something"
Here we are in 2018 and we have a new release from Freddy and Robby. Teaming up with Rap/Hip-Hop artist Joey Purp, “Shake Something” delivers us into a chill world sound. Starting out with singular bass behind the vocals Joey Purp, the track drops into the funk wave that Freddy and Robby have grown so accustomed to. In its entirety, the track delivers a mellowed out vibe that captivates Joey's lyricism while at the same time bringing to the forefront the snare flare and tempo bassline. Per usual, it is different, and the Child have proven that this is going to be the style they embody. It's not too over the top and doesn't have a ridiculous amount going on. But, it is perfect for what the track is, a vibed out Hip-Hop infused production rad and vibe. The drop continuesly changes throughout the track from higher pitched to deep and it brings great different elements to the production.
