Nightmares On Wax releases 500-plus episodes of Ibiza Sonica Radio

As the trend of giving back in response to COVID-19 continues, Nightmares On Wax has made his own contribution in the form of more than 500 episodes of Ibiza Sonica Radio (ISR). All of them are available his Mixcloud Select subscription channel.

Subscribing costs a monthly fee of £2.99, and all proceeds from those fees will go to PRS Foundation fund, which has pledged to support musicians and songwriters who are being affected by the pandemic.

Mixcloud Select was erected to give fans the opportunity to support artists directly, and for the next three months Mixcloud will waive their share of the fees. The money will be going directly to the artists.

Born George Evelyn, Nightmare on Wax first began hosting on ISR back in 2006, and this new library includes episodes that stretch across his entire 14-year residency. The artist noted that the Wax Da Box shows were “a hugely important time for me, recording every single week, digging deep into new and old music.

“I’ve wanted to release them for a while now and I thought now is the perfect time,” he continued. “I hope the shows can in some way brighten up your day, bring back some special memories and spread some positive vibrations.”
