Taiki Nulight and AC Slater get a 'Gold Star' for this bass house heater

Taiki Nulight and AC Slater have both had big starts to their 2020 campaigns. Nulight has released a number of collaborations so far, including “Messi” with Dread MC and “Skank N Flex” with Wax Motif and Scruffizer. Meanwhile, Slater shared the remixed version of his 2019 LP, Hi8, in addition to several collaborations of his own. Now, both producers have come together for their first joint project of the year.

“Gold Star” is a party-starter through and through. Nulight and Slater open with a vocal loop that builds before a garage-inspired bass house drop typical of their tastes enters the fold. “Gold Star” has been released Orient Records, Nulight’s own record label.
