aiaiai's new know-how will allow you to rework internet banners into music
aiaiai has joined forces with Danish duo Kenton Slash Demon to develop and launch a brand new “interactive music universe” that can permit customers to remodel internet banners into music.
AbEXP has been described by aiaiai as “a brand new form of adblock plugin” and runs as a Google Chrome extension. The software program will flip industrial banners into “an audiovisual expertise” that pairs “otherworldly sounds with futuristic, brutalism-inspired graphics”.
The concept for AbEXP was developed in collaboration with Copenhagen-based artistic coder, Andreas Refsgaard. aiaiai then invited Kenton Slash Demon to create the music and the sound spectrum for the undertaking, leading to a ‘modular’ system of sounds and rhythm that may be mixed, and interacted with.
“The AbEXP is meant as a playful, exploratory remark; If individuals don’t need banners, let’s give them one thing else, one thing enjoyable,” explains aiaiai Creative Director Peter Michael Willer a press launch.
