Diplo, Sia and Labrinth form Supergroup LSD, drop new track 'Genius'

Diplo, Sia and Labrinth teamed up to form the new supergroup LSD. The trio released “Genius” today, May 3, the first f their forthcoming album. LSD's debut track will be followed up by a second release entitled “Audio” sometime next week.

“Genius” features cheeky verses from both Sia and Labrinth, overlaying some seriously danceable beats courtesy Diplo. Though the group name is taken from the first initial each artist, the video features some pretty trippy elements throughout, reminiscent the hallucinogen. After all, both Sia and Labrinth find themselves running away from a giant floating Diplo head.

Diplo truly is a jack--all-trades when it comes to production and side projects. Aside from his solo Diplo endeavor, the Mad Decent owner makes up one-third Major Lazer, one-half Jack U, one-half a collaborative project with Mark Ronson titled Silk City, and now one-third LSD.

The release date and title LSD's debut album is yet to be announced.
