ILLENIUM Paves Way to Self-Titled Album With Punk-Influenced Single, “Insanity”

The collaboration with American Teeth is a sign of the broader themes dotting ILLENIUM's forthcoming self-titled album.

ILLENIUM comes to grips with the unattainable in his new single, "Insanity."

The track sees the Grammy-nominated artist doing what he does best: embracing complex emotions with powerful songwriting and pushing the bounds of his production.

"Insanity" continues to pave the producer's path at the intersection of high-energy melodic bass music and pop-punk, a lane he has often swerved into over the course of his last couple albums. Over that period of time, ILLENIUM has garnered more and more support from stalwarts of the punk and alternative rock genres.

With "Insanity" he's joined by American Teeth, who delivers with soaring vocals and heartstring-tugging songwriting. ILLENIUM matches in signature fashion with the pensive strum of acoustic guitars, which whisk into a powerful cadence of punchy rock drums and distorted synths.

ILLENIUM is speeding towards the release of his fifth studio album, a star-studded, self-titled project that is said to explore his "core sound." Expected out in full on April 28th, the album is replete with star power, including collaborations alongside Avril Lavigne, Travis Barker and All Time Low, just to name a few.
