Klout Meets Its Inevitable End: The Social Media Service Is Shutting Down

Klout, the social media service that let social media influencers get free stuff is inevitably shutting down on May 25th.

While many you may be confused that Klout is even a thing, you another 15 days to see who is influential in different topics and what your actual online Klout score is by going here.

Klout was acquired by Lithium Technologies for a reported $200 million.

“The Klout acquisition provided Lithium with valuable artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning capabilities but Klout as a standalone service is not aligned with our long-term strategy,” CEO Pete Hess wrote in a short note.

RIP Klout.
