Kx5 and Endel’s “Sleep Science” Playlist Creates Ideal Conditions for Rest
Kaskade and deadmau5 have joined forces with Endel for the first generative AI playlist on Amazon Music.
deadmau5 and Kaskade's Kx5 may well become a part of your bedtime routine.
The Berlin-based generative AI company Endel, in partnership with Amazon Music, has crafted a new playlist fit for a restful night's sleep. The company's focus is centered around wellness, specifically the creation of functional playlists that help users focus, relax and sleep.
Endel's new "Sleep Science" playlist marks the first time an AI-based company has crafted a playlist for Amazon Music. It also features Kx5 front-and-center.
The playlist opens with an AI-generated track that was crafted by way of processing the original source material from Kx5's debut single, "Escape." Endel's AI engine, Endel Pacific, morphs the original sound into music that tracks with the natural sleep cycle of humans.
The resulting output, now an Amazon Original release, consists of high-quality, relaxing soundscapes which seek to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and prepare the listener for rest.
"We’re excited to work with Endel to provide an optimal experience for Amazon Music listeners looking to wind down and settle into sleep," said Stephen Brower, Amazon Music's Global Co-Lead of Artist Relations. "We look forward to our customers discovering their science backed approach as well as their curatorial instincts for unique artist collaborations, including Kx5’s new Amazon Original release."
