Maceo Plex Taps Ishi for Brooding Electronica Serenade, “Moon Sky”

A tried-and-true way to express deep-seated emotions is through music.
Renowned Cuban-American DJ and electronic producer Maceo Plex has teamed up with Ishi to release "Moon Sky." An amalgamation of downtempo electronica and slow-burning drum loops, the new track is a stunning electronica serenade—and it's arrived right before Valentine's Day.
A departure from Plex's usual sound, "Moon Sky" finds him producing a brooding, moody soundscape to compliment Ishi's lyricism. "You are my moon my sun, and you’re not just anyone," he croons, depicting an everlasting admiration of that special someone.
Out now by way of Lone Romantic, the emotive track is accompanied by an official music video from Firsteye Media.
