Mexico Stuns Reigning FIFA World Cup Champs Germany

The Mexico National Soccer Team benefits from being a group that has gelled together over time. Other teams are blessed with better talent at each position but pale in comparison to Mexico's team unity. Remember they are the same outfit that organized a giant sex party in preparation for the Tournament, with their coach's endorsement to top it all f.

Well it appears the critics were wrong to accuse the Mexican Team taking their preparations lightly because their opening fixture was one for the record books. A 35th minute tally by Mexico striker Hirving Lozano was enough to put away the reigning World Cup champs, Germany. In fact, it was Lozano who began mounting the pressure right f the opening whistle, evading German fullback Joshua Kimmich and letting f a blistering shot which which trickled f  Jerome Boateng's leg.

Germany had their own chance to level the score, when Mario Gomez headed Thomas Muller's cross well over the bar. Incidentally, Mexico also plenty opportunities to cushion their lead, missing a dead-on breakaway when Layun faded under pressure from an incoming threat posed by Muller and defender Mats Hummels, the two German players had no choice but to take him down. All things considered, Mexico are deserving this victory. Coach Osorio seems to have his players playing with fire and calculated emotion.

Final Score: Germany 0-1 Mexico FT
