Rampage Weekend 2023: Total Takeover Returns to Antwerp With a Fresh Concept
The popular dubstep and drum & bass festival is taking over Antwerp in mid-March.
From its humble 2009 launch in Antwerp’s music center to a city-wide takeover, 14 years later, Rampage has cemented itself as one of Europe’s premier electronic music events.
Billed as "The Biggest Drum & Bass And Dubstep Party In The Universe," Rampage is once again getting ready to land in Antwerp, Belgium. The time around, organizers are presenting a brand new concept—Rampage Weekend 2023: Total Takeover.
Rampage attracts over 22,000 visitors from over 70 countries each year, in addition to another 25,000 at their Open Air summer edition. Total Takeover, which is scheduled for March 10-11, is bound to blow expectations out of the water, turning the entire city into a colossal dubstep and drum & bass party.
In a first-of-its-kind activation, Rampage will be splitting its impressive lineup into 10 clubs scattered across Antwerp on its first night of March 10th. They'll then offer attendees a huge bass music event at the Sportpaleis arena on March 11th.
Total Takeover’s first day boasts an assortment of influential brands hosting club nights and celebrated artists taking the decks. Monstercat’s takeover at Cargo Club will feature sets from the likes of DROELOE, Pegboard Nerds andn WHIPPED CREAM, while UKF will host performances from The Caracal Project, Grafix and Ruth Royall. Eptic's "The End Of The World…" showcase will include a heavy set from the influential Belgian producer himself, as well as Riot Ten, HOL! and more.
Dubstep and drum & bass stars such as Murdock, Andromedik, Badklaat, Yasper, Teddy Killerz and many more will also enchant fans with their sets on Friday night.
Commuting from one club to another can be done in less than 10 minutes by foot or taxi, and access to all venues is available with a single ticket. Attendees will also be able to use Rampage’s mobile app to find out which clubs are full or have a queue, and which ones their friends are currently partying at.
