Swedish House Mafia Usher In a New Chapter With Haunting Track, “See The Light”

New music from Swedish House Mafia has been few and far between since Paradise Again, but with "See The Light" out now, it's clear the legendary trio haven't lost their stride.

The stunning song arrives in the wake of the one-year anniversary of their long-awaited debut album, which released after the group reunited following 2013's shocking disbandment.

"The Paradise Again era is now closing," reads a statement shared on Swedish House Mafia's website. "Thank you for being part of this journey... We can now see the light upon us."

The poignant nature of that homecoming is reflected in "See The Light," a haunting house track featuring Fridayy. The proof is in the pudding—watch Swedish House Mafia drop the new song live at this year's Ultra Music Festival, where Axwell said it was time to "move into the more emotional side of things."

Releasing in tandem with the Monaco F1 Grand Prix, "See The Light" serves as the first release from EA Sports' upcoming Formula 1 soundtrack album. Swedish House Mafia are now celebrating by performing an intimate show in London on Saturday, May 27th before throwing down on the main stage of Creamfields South the following day.

"We missed our U.K. family and can’t wait to be back to celebrate the release and the new chapter of what’s to come," the group said in a joint statement.
