The Simpsons episode with Michael Jackson has been pulled from circulation
An episode of The Simpsons that includes Michael Jackson has been pulled type circulation.
This follows accusations made within the two-part Channel four documentary Leaving Neverland. The documentary options Wade Robson and James Safechuck, each of whom declare they had been sexually abused by Jackson once they had been kids.
According to The Wall Street Journal, government producer James L. Brooks, creator Matt Groening and show-runner Al Jean have made the choice to drag the episode Stark Raving Dad, initially aired in 1991, from streaming platforms, networks re-running the present, and forthcoming bodily copies, together with field units.
“It feels clearly the one option to make,” Brooks stated. “The guys I work with — the place we spend our lives arguing over jokes — had been of 1 thoughts on this.”
Jackson’s property has denied all allegations, labelling Robson and Safechuck "opportunists". and "liars". They are presently suing HBO for $100 million.
